Located in northern Europe known as the region as Scandinavia
Borders Sweden to the east, Finland to far north, and even a small sliver of Russia too.
North sea is to the south, Arctic circle to the northern part of Norway, And most of it being locates in the Artic ocean

According to https://www.skapago.eu/ "Ivar Aasen, travelled throughout the country and compiled a dictionary and grammar of the Norwegian language. From that, Norway got a completely new written version of its language, called “landsmål” (country language) and later “nynorsk” (New Norwegian)."
The most common is Bokmål
It is a Germanic language derived from Old Norse.
