VOICED : Victimas de guerra en Colombia reciben restos de seres queridos

Victims of Colombia's armed conflict received remains of loved ones killed by various groups. The Medellín Prosecutor's Office returned 14 sets of remains from victims who died between 1989 and 2016. Hernán Estrada finally received his son's body, who disappeared in 2009 due to a criminal gang. The victims, aged 14 to 71, were killed by guerrillas, paramilitaries, military forces, or criminal gangs linked to the internal war that has plagued Colombia since the 1960s, resulting in 260,000 deaths and over 60,000 disappearances. The government has made peace with FARC and seeks the same with the National Liberation Army.
