Mars Helicopter Makes Historic Flight

NASA successfully conducted the first powered, controlled flight of an aircraft on another planet using a four-pound helicopter. This historic event is likened to the Wright brothers' first flight. The test flight lasted approximately 30 seconds, reaching an altitude of about 10 feet above the Martian surface.
