Animal Communication

Animals communicate through various methods such as pheromones, sounds, and signals. Pheromones are chemicals used for communication within the same species, like attracting mates. Honeybees use a waggle dance to convey information about food sources, while killer whales rely on sound due to limited visibility underwater. Each whale pod has a unique dialect, and they use sounds for group recognition and coordination. Some whale behaviors, like breaching, remain not fully understood.
