VOICED : Asesinan a otro periodista en Mexico el cuarto en mes y medio

In Mexico, five journalists have been killed in a month and a half. Maximino Rodríguez Palacios was shot dead while arriving at a store with his wife. He was a contributor to the Pericú news blog, which confirmed his death. The shooting occurred as he parked in a disabled spot to get a wheelchair for his wife, who was unharmed. Unknown assailants fired from a pickup truck with high-powered rifles. Pericú demanded justice for this and other unsolved crimes, acknowledging Rodríguez's journalistic work. Since March, three other reporters have been killed, and a fourth is recovering from gunshot wounds.
