NASA scientists set out goals of Dragonfly mission to Titan

The Dragonfly mission, set to launch in 2026 and arrive in 2034, aims to explore Titan, Saturn's moon, for signs of life. It will be the first mission since 1976 to explicitly include life detection in its goals. Titan's thick methane atmosphere has previously hindered detailed study, but Dragonfly will investigate its surface and atmosphere for chemical biosignatures and prebiotic chemistry. The mission will provide new insights into Titan's methane cycle and its potential for life.
