Intense Monitor Lizard Fight

In South Africa, two monitor lizards were filmed by Ranger Rob Van Plue in a dramatic battle lasting over 15 minutes. The fight, likely a territorial dispute between alpha males, showcased their strength and aggression. Despite their smaller size compared to the Komodo dragon, these lizards were fierce. Rob, who had never seen such a fight in over 20 years, attempted to capture the end of the battle, but the lizards disappeared down a hill, leaving the outcome unknown.
