New Unemployment Claims Trending Down

The Department of Labor reported that 547,000 claims were filed last week, marking a decrease of 39,000 from the previous week. The four-week moving average for weekly claims is now 651,000, the lowest since March 14th of last year, when initial COVID protocols were implemented by cities and states.
