New parrot-like dinosaur’s fossils found in Gobi desert

This species, part of the over Raptors branch, lived around 68 million years ago and had unique features like feathers and two finger-like digits. The discovery provides insights into the evolutionary changes in over Raptors, particularly the reduction in digits. The well-preserved skeletons suggest that juvenile Aversons roamed in groups, offering a rare glimpse into their social behavior.
