VOICED : Guatemala desbarató red que transportó migrantes asesinados en México

The Guatemalan government dismantled the human trafficking group Los Coronado, responsible for transporting 15 Guatemalans who were killed in Mexico in 2021. Ten people were arrested, including a leader of the network, while others remain at large. The operation involved U.S. Homeland Security agents. The incident in Camargo, Mexico, involved 19 victims, 16 of whom were Guatemalan. The network charged migrants up to $15,000 for transport to the U.S. Twelve Mexican police officers were arrested for their involvement.
