George Winters, a 25-year-old former soldier, lives a unique, self-sufficient lifestyle in the woods near Houston, Texas. Discharged from the army due to ill health, he built a home 45 feet up in the trees to escape noise and crowds. His simple living keeps his expenses low, and he enjoys the benefits of a rent-free life, cooking outdoors and enjoying nature. Despite the challenges, George finds this lifestyle preferable to traditional housing.
