VOICED : Justicia peruana no cerrara investigacion contra Keiko Fujimori

The Peruvian judiciary rejected Keiko Fujimori's request to close an investigation into alleged money laundering involving her and her husband. The investigation, led by prosecutor José Domingo Pérez, will continue for up to 36 months. Pérez traveled to Brazil to question Jorge Barata, former head of Odebrecht in Peru, about alleged campaign contributions to Keiko. Odebrecht admitted to paying $29 million in bribes in Peru between 2004 and 2013. Keiko leads the Fujimorista party, but recent weeks have seen internal conflicts, with 13 legislators leaving or being marginalized, including her brother Kenji.
