Answer explanation

They can hit "Ok" or they can just click the "Home" tab and that will bring them to the live IVUS cross section view.

Both the "New Case" and the "Clear Form" buttons will clear the data you just entered and you'll have to start over.

This is a mild frustration with the Core system since sometimes staff think hitting "New Case" will begin the IVUS portion of the case.

This is not something you have to worry about with IntraSight, the software is much smoother.

What on the IVUS start up screen tells you that the IVUS Pim is being recognized by the Core and is ready to use?

"Select Mode" on the bottom left corner

The beating heart in the upper right hand corner

The fact that you can click the Home tab button (if inactive it would be greyed out)

The Phased Array with a green circle in the bottom right hand corner

Answer explanation

If the Pim is either unplugged or if the Pim cable or the Pim itself is broken, then the bottom right corner will say "No Pim" with a black circle.

This is an easy first thing to check when troubleshooting an issue with a customer.

MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

30 sec • 1 pt

What on the IVUS start up screen tells you that there is an ECG signal being received by the Core system?

"Select Mode" on the bottom left corner

The beating heart in the upper right hand corner

The fact that you can click the Home tab button (if inactive it would be greyed out)

The Phased Array with a green circle in the bottom right hand corner

Answer explanation

The beating heart in the upper right hand corner confirms the system is receiving an ECG signal through the hemo cable. You will need an ECG signal in order to use the VH feature.

(Please note that VH is no longer a feature on IntraSight. If you have customers using this then they will lose it once they upgrade)
