Classroom expectations

When I enter the classroom, I should do the following:

• Say hello to my teachers

• Sit down in my assigned seat

• Start warm up or wait for directions

• Walk around the room and chat with my friends

During instruction, I am expected to...

• Ignore what is being said because I already know this

• Be polite and listen quietly because I would like the same when I am talking.

• Play with my phone

• Politely ask others to stop talking so I can hear

• Write the notes while my teachers are instructing. Writing helps remembering.

When is it okay to use my cellphone?

• When my teachers say it is ok

What are the consequences for using my phone in class without permission?
