Practice your answers
Finally, rehearsing your answers before the interview allows you to prepare your key points ahead of time, practice presenting them with confidence, and organize your thoughts so you can describe them clearly to the interviewer. To prepare your answers, find a list of common interview questions in your industry or field. Choose a few questions and brainstorm how to answer them based on your qualifications and past work experiences. If possible, ask a trusted friend to help you practice your interview by role-playing it.
When practicing with a friend, give them a list of questions to ask as if they're the interviewer and go through your responses to each question. Ask them for feedback about your strengths and weaknesses so you can work on your areas for improvement and gain confidence in your successes. However, over-preparing can sometimes cause more stress, so practice until you feel confident in your key points and then take a break.
