3.    A group of students sat for a Mathematic diagnostic test. 1/3 of them obtained grade A and 0.25 of them obtained grade B. The remaining 15 students obtained grade C. Find the total number of students who took the test. (CL mid-term 2019)

4.    The initial temperature of a liquid was - 8 ^oC. The temperature was reduced to - 15 ^oC and then increased by 3 ^oC per minute for 7 minutes. Find the difference between the final temperature and the initial

5.     Ang’s motorcycle can hold 10 litres of petrol in its fuel tank. It can travel 40km on one litre of petrol. On Saturday, he fills up the tank and travels 90km. On Sunday, he travels 2 5/18 of Saturday’s distance. On Monday, he travels 0.35 of Saturday’s distance. He then fills his tank with 3 litres of petrol. How much petrol is there in his tank now? 6.     John had RM150. He gave 3/5 of this to Thomas. Thomas gave 1/2 of the money he received to Alex. How much did Alex receive if he also received 1/2 of the money that John had left? (CL mid-term 2016)
