What is a glossary?

What does the word "terms" mean?

• It means therms...

• It means worms...

• It means words!

What does cite mean?

• Cite means to tell me WHERE you got the information. You can write the paragraph number.

• Cite always means to copy directly from the book.

• Cite means to always use your own words.

What does paraphrase mean?

• Paraphrase means to copy.

• Paraphrase means to use your own words. You take the PARAgraph and PARAphrase it.

• Paraphrase means to tell me where you got your information.

What does analyze mean?

• to make well-informed guesses based on prior knowledge

• to look carefully at the details of something to understand its parts

• to show how to or more things are different

Analyze means "to look carefully at the details of something to understand its parts" (LAW p. 28). Analysis is the noun form.
