If a required team member is unable to make it to an IEP meeting, they must:

• Notify the parents and other team members

• Complete a team member excusal form prior to the meeting and gain approval from the parents and district

• Hold an additional meeting with the case manager at a later date to be updated

• Find an appropriate substitute that is able to represent them during the meeting
