What is the atmosphere?

Water vapor is invisible. Liquid water can be seen. Clouds form when water vapor cools, then condenses into water droplets. The stratosphere is warmer than the troposphere. Why are there rarely clouds in the stratosphere?

• The stratosphere is too far away to see clouds.
