Backhand

• Standad throw. Right handed player paces thumb on top of dics, curl fingers underneath, extends arm to left side of body

• Forehand throw that goes high in the air and curves left

• A foul

• Long throw

Bid

• Forehand throw that goes high in the air and curves left

• Slow it down, be patient, and wait a moment fot he game to get reorganized

• An impressive (but failing) diving attempt to catch the Frisbee

• Signals that the disk is in play

Blade

• Difficult but useful throw. Thrower leads with middle finger along rim, with index finger supporting disc

• Forehand throw that goes high in the air and curves left

• What you shout to alert players that the Frisbee is in the air

• Jumping up to catch the Frisbee

Check

• Guarding on only on one side of the thrower to make them throw to other side. The direction you want them to throw is the direction of the force

• An overhead throw with a forehand grip in which the Frisbee is released at an angle so that it flattens out and flies upside down

• Intentional or unintentional block where a player gets between you and the player you are covering (picks are illegal)

• The "marker" makes sure that all players on the field are ready before signaling that play is ready to resume. The marker has his/her hand on the disc and says out loud "counts 3-2-1 in play"

Chilly

• A run by a reciever to shae his defender

• Defensive player counts to 10 while defending the offensive player. The offensive player must throw the disc before the 't' of then or it is a turnover

Cut

• An overhead throw with a forehand grip in which the Frisbee is released at an angle so that it flattens out and flies upside down

DIsk in

• Dive for the Frisbee

• Jumping to catch the Frisbee
