I understand I am required to meet the following academic expectations: Completing all summer reading assignments.Completing daily reading assignments provided by the instructor as homework. Completing supplemental assignments provided by the instructor. Completing all task in a timely manner (as determined by the instructor. Having the right attitude for a successful completion of the course.

Taking the AICE/AP Exam on the scheduled date is a requirement. Failure to take exam will result in a charge of $90 for the cost of the test.

Dropping an AICE/AP course will not occur until the end of the semester when requested by parent. Requests must be written and signed by the parent.

If a student has remained enrolled in the course past the 3rd nine weeks. The terms of this contract will be enforced, even if there is no signed contract on file.

In addition to the items listed above, please note the following: One of the goals of AICE/AP course work is to help students master skills required for success in college. As such, enrolment in AICE/AP classes requires a higher level of student independence. The formation of study groups and participation in tutoring sessions are highly encouraged. Due to the college level curriculum taught in each of these courses, counselor or administrative approval is required to enroll in all AICE/AP courses. In order to receive the AICE Diploma, students must complete the required number of AICE courses, pass each exam and earn 100 community service hours. Receiving the AICE Diploma automatically qualifies them for the Scholar Bright Futures Scholarship.
