A Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday my family and I went to the zoo to see the elephant. When we got to the zoo, we went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals.

After getting the food, we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night.

Before having lunch, we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad fell off when he let go off the rope, but he was ok.

During the lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed. When we returned home we were very tired but happy. It was because we had so much fun activities at many places at the zoo.

Last Wednesday, I came late to my school because I played playstation until 2.00 am in the night. Because I woke up late.

I always went to school by my motorcycle. But on that day, I forgot where I put the key. So, I went to the school by public transportation. It took me a longer time. I arrived at school at 7.15 am, I ran to my class but I saw my teacher had stood in front of the class to teach. I entered my class and of course my teacher was angry at me because I came late.

It was my bad experience and I hoped I would not do that again.

Vacation to Karimunjawa

I spent my last holiday in Karimunjawa, Central Java with my friends. On the first day, I arrived at Karimunjawa Harbor at 10.00 after a 12-hour trip with a bus and ferry boat.

After I arrived, I decided to take a shower and rest for a while. Then, I followed a trip with our guide to explore a few islands around Karimunjawa.

On the next morning, we went snorkeling and explore more islands. We had fun, we also ate good food.

On the last day, I went shopping for some souvenirs.

After that, I went to the harbor at 11.00. We arrived in Bandung at 23.00.

I had a wonderful experience in Karimunjawa.

Unfortunately, I missed it. The ticket was already expired 2 days before.

Yesterday l was going to the lake. It was a nice time for fishing because I had no work to do.

I woke earlier in the morning then I went to the marketplace to buy some shrimps which I used for fishing bait. After that, I went to the lake to start fishing.

At that lake, I looked for the best point to fish. I went to the place under the big tree at the bank of the lake.

I threw my hook as far as I can then I waited for the fish to eat my bait. 30 minutes left and finally there was a fish that ate my bait. It was the first big enough fish that I got.

I got 10 big fish and 3 small fish that day. I was so happy.

I would cook that fish at home and then I would call my friends to come to my home then we would have a small party.

But I was not lucky enough because on the way home I saw a beggar. He was an old poor beggar.

I gave all of my fish to him and I wish he would be happy getting that fish. Perhaps he could sell them at the market and get some money to buy some food.

Even though I did not have any fish after that, I was so happy because I could help people.

VISIT MY GRANDMOTHER

Last year's holiday in Lebaran I went to Surabaya to visit my grandmother and grandfather.

I had to go there because the previous holiday I wasn’t there.

I missed them so much because I lived with them when I was a child.

At that time both of my parents had to go to another city to earn money so they left me with my grandma and grandpa.

After graduating from junior high school, I follow my parents living in Jakarta. Since that, I had visited them only at holiday time.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have any ticket for either train or plane so I went to Surabaya by bus. It was so tiring because the traffic was too crowded and stagnant.

Normally, the trip needs around 24-28 hours but my trip at that time took 40 hours from Jakarta to Surabaya. That made me mad.

The madness and tiredness during the trip had gone after I met my grandma and grandpa. They looked old. I was so happy knowing them in healthy condition
