[Bell ringing - Nina opens the door]

Sophie: Hi! Oh, so good to see you. I’ve missed you so much.

Nina: Me, too. Hey, Eric.

Eric: Hi, Nina. Great to see you.

Nina: So, come in, come in. Make yourselves at home.

Eric: Thanks!

Nina: Here - you can put those over there.

Eric: Ok, thanks.

Nina: Can I get you something to drink?

Eric: That would be lovely, thanks.

Sophie: Yes, please. Ummm, cup of tea?

Nina: So how was your trip?

Sophie: Yeah, it was fine, thanks. Except for Eric and his whining: “Are we there yet? Are we there yet?”

Eric: I was just wondering how much further we had to go. Nina, your flat is lovely.

Nina: Well, as you can see, there’s nothing much here yet. No sofa, no curtains.

Sophie: Yeah, that’s ok. We can sleep on the floor. [whispering to Eric] What? Come on, stop it!

Eric: [whispering back] No, it’s not right.

Sophie: Of course, we can.

Eric: It’s inappropriate.

[The scene changes to the three having dinner]

Eric: I really liked the ones with tomato. They were the best.

Sophie: Nina, let’s go and see it. The shop.

Nina: Really?

Sophie: Yeah.

Nina: You want to see it?

Sophie: ‘Course I do.

Nina: It’s a bit late.

Sophie: No it isn’t. Come on. I know it’s a big step for you. And, um, speaking of big steps… Eric and I have something we want to tell you… We’re going to have a baby!

Sally: Finally, he just walked away. He didn’t even look at us, as he went back into the trees.

Jake: And we’re going to the same place?

Jake: Don’t worry, Jake. It’s very safe.
