1. What is a biome?

• An area of the planet with a similar climate and landscape, where similar animals and plants live.
• A habitat for different animals and plants.
• A particular country which has rainforest or deserts.

2. What is Climate?

• The same as the weather
• Weather patterns over a long period of time
• The weather around the Equator

3. What is a desert?

• A biome with lots of rain so plants can grow
• A biome which is always hot and sandy
• A biome with very little rain so little grows

4. What is the Equator?

• An imaginary line below the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer.
• An imaginary line that divides the Northern and Southern hemispheres
• An imaginary line through the polar regions
