Tobit 11&12

In Chapter 11: We see the way back to Tobias’ parents. We notice the first thing the Angle Rafael asked Tobias once he entered his house to immediately worship the Lord God and give thanks to him. In this chapter also, we see how Tobit restored his sight and thanked and praised God.  Also, we notice how this family used to adore God and give thanks in every single step. We see how God was the first and foundation of everything in this family’s life. Until this chapter, still Tobit and Tobias didn’t know who was the man that helped and supported Tobias in his mission.In Chapter 12: We see How Tobit was thinking about the Man who helped Tobias and how he can reward him.  We also learn from Tobias how he was thinking about how much this man helped him and how he deserves the best. We see what the angel asked Tobit and Tobias to do. He asked them to talk about what God did for them and confess the works of God. The Angel focused also on the importance of prayer, fasting and almsgiving and how almsgiving delivers from death. In this chapter, We see clearly one of the roles  of the angels with us. Angel Rafael was offering Tobit’s prayer to the Lord. In this Chapter also, Angel Rafael started to show himself to Tobit and Tobias and how they responded and how Angel Rafael was taken from their sight.Bless the God of heaven, and ……….. To him in the sight of all who live, for he has acted in his ……… toward you “Tobit12:6
