What is our goal in Essay 3?

• Write a two-thousand-word research-based argument that’s either a Definition argument or an Evaluation argument, or a Causal argument or a Proposal argument. Place the type of argument in the subtitle of your essay

• Write a 1500-word essay that is a comparison between a human intelligence and artificial intelligence

• Write a 1000-word literary response arguing about the ethics of Hamlet.

• Write an argumentative essay that is a response to gender roles in American society.

You can earn extra points by

Before forming your thesis,

• make sure you have enough evidence

Critical Contemplation for this essay means

• You're jet-skiing through research.

• You project only your own views and nothing else.

• your paper should demonstrate that you have looked at all sides of the issue you’re presenting and that you have looked at the issue as deeply as a two-thousand-word paper allows you to do so. It means you’re adding your own discovery, from your research, to the pool of thought that already exists on your topic.
