What is a microgrid?

• Group of elements installed with the objective of generating and distributing the power to the consumers.

• Container consisting of one or more cells, in which chemical energy is converted into electricity and used as a source of power.

• A machine, especially one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for another device with moving parts.

What are the elements of a microgrid?

What is an Energy Management System?

• Intelligent system programmed by a power engineer, saved in a control card, which tell each component of the microgrid what to do.
