בֹּ֖א אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֑ה

• Go to Paroh

כִּֽי־אֲנִ֞י הִכְבַּ֤דְתִּי אֶת־לִבּוֹ֙

• because I made his heart heavy

• because he hardened his heart

לְמַ֗עַן שִׁתִ֛י אֹתֹתַ֥י אֵ֖לֶּה בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ

• So that you would remember leaving his country

• So that you will not forget your life there

• So that I will increase my miracles in his midst

וּלְמַ֡עַן תְּסַפֵּר֩ בְּאׇזְנֵ֨י בִנְךָ֜ וּבֶן־בִּנְךָ֗

• So your children and children's children will ask

• So that you will tell your children and children's children

• So that you will remember leaving Egypt all the days of your lives

אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִתְעַלַּ֙לְתִּי֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם

• that I 'toyed' with Egypt

• that I punished Egypt

וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה

• And he will know that I am Hashem

• And he will know that you are his nation

• And you will know that I am Hashem

עַד־מָתַ֣י מֵאַ֔נְתָּ לֵעָנֹ֖ת מִפָּנָ֑י

• How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me?

• How long will you take to release Bnai Yisrael?

• How long will they be allowed to leave for?
