Ezra 9&10

Meditation verse for the Book of Ezra chapters 9 & 10: In Chapter 9, we learn about Ezra who is out of his humility offered repentance and prayer on behalf of his nation. 

In Chapter 10, we learn about how the people offered practical repentance and fixed what they did wrong and let the pagans wives return to their countries. 

In chapter 9 verse 2, the children of Israel sinned when they had wives from the pagan nations (who didn’t worshiped God). When we don’t choose godly friends, we will end up as them far away from God. We should be carful to choose godly friends who bring us closer to God.
