Incomplete clear-mindedness with disturbances in perception and attitudes.

These are most often associated with brain pathology.

Coma in which a patient appears to be awake with eyes open but cannot be aroused (also known as akinetic mutism).

Lack of reaction to, and unawareness of, surroundings.

A state of impaired awareness associated with a desire or inclination to sleep.

Profound unconsciousness. State of unconsciousness where a person is unresponsive and cannot be woken.
