1king chapters 13&14

In Chapter 13 we learn about, how Jeroboam sinned against God. God sent to him a prophet from Judah to warn him and to chastise him.

In Chapter 14 we learn about the results of sin and corruption. We read about the death of Abijah, the son of Jeroboam, and later the death of Jeroboam. Also, robbing the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the king’s house in Judah.

In chapter 13 verse 19 the prophet got deceived probably because he was hungry and didn’t ask God. We learn to pray and ask God before any step we take in our life.
