1 Samuel chapter 11&12

Meditation verse for the book of 1 Samuel chapters 11&12:

In Chapter 11 we learn about the war against Ammonites which started because of their threatening, but Saul had a zeal to gather the people to fight them, and by the Lord’s power they overcome the Ammonites.

In Chapter 12 we read about Samuel farewell speech to his people. He declared his faithfulness with them all years of his judgement, and showed them their mistake by rejecting God being a king over them and requesting an earthly king.

In chapter 12 verse 5 Samuel declared to the people that he was faithful and honest in his rule as a judge to the people and they confirmed that. We should be responsible and honest in any job we do as children of God and true witnesses to Him.
