• Prepare items needed ( If needed ask partner or patient to apply pressure while doing this.)

Step 5 Bleed Treatment

• Apply treatment (one or more of the following)

Step 7 Bleed Treatment

• Continue to apply pressure and bandage.

• Last resort apply a tourniquet

• Check capillary refill

• Access the type of Bleed

• Continue to monitor till EMS arrives, someone takes over, or you have to move to the next victim.

Step 8 Bleed Treatment

• Continue to apply pressure and bandage.

• Last resort apply a tourniquet

• Check capillary refill

• Access the type of Bleed

• Continue to monitor till EMS arrives, someone takes over, or you have to move to the next victim.

Step 9 Bleed Treatment

• Continue to apply pressure and bandage.
