How can you be a history detective?

• Be curious and ask important questions, find evidence and explore for clues of the past

• Believe everything you see without asking if is true

• Repeating stories you hear without finding evidence

• Foward information you get from internet

Oral History is

• gathering & preserving historical information through recorded interviews.

• an interview consisting of a conversation between a job applicant and a representative of an employer.

• not a form of getting information from the past.

Historical Archives are

• people that cares for (conserves) a collection of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance.

• to safeguard, preserve and restore, reorder and inventory documents.

• Places for sports and promotional activities.

What are historical sources?

• Any leftover of the past can be considered a source. A historical source is something that tells us about History.
