How to Write a Sentence
A sentence is a complete thought. It expresses an idea to the reader.

How to Write a Sentence
Every sentence needs to start with a capital letter. A capital letter is an upper case letter. Names of people, animals, places, days, holidays, and months should also be capitalized.

Lower case letters are used for words in the middle of a sentence.

You can use different types of words called parts of speech, to describe something in your sentence.

The end of every sentence needs to have punctuation. Punctuation can be used as a period, exclamation mark, or a question mark.

Let's look at an example together
My soft, fuzzy dog, Reba is going with me to the park.
My- capitalized because it is the beginning of the sentence.
soft-using the feeling of touch (adjective)
fuzzy-describing word (adjective)
Reba-capitalized because it is a name of an animal. Reba is also the subject in the sentence.
going with me-predicate (telling what she is doing)
a period is used for punctuation-telling
