Moods
Indicative: indicates/expresses facts or opinions, or asks questions
Imperative: expresses commands, advice, or requests
Subjunctive: expresses doubts, wishes, or possibilities

Progressive: shows ongoing action and uses a form of the verb “to be” combines with a present tense verb that usually ends in -ing
Perfect: shows completed action and uses a form have “to have” (has, had) along with a verb in the past tense

Expresses action performed by the subject of the sentence. (First identify the subject)
Passive
Indicates that the subject was acted upon by something else. (Look for the subject/who or what does the action)
