Today we will be discussing what a folktale is and what the moral of a story means.
RL.2.2 - Recount stories, including fables and folktales from diverse cultures, and determine their central message, lesson, or moral.
Student objectives:
Students will be able to recognize that a folktale is a story that has been handed down over a long period of time.
Student will be able to determine the moral of a story, and explain why morals are important to have.
