American Sign Language
An important part of the Disability Rights Movement includes the use of ASL. American Sign Language (ASL) is a visual language. With signing, the brain processes linguistic information through the eyes. The shape, placement, and movement of the hands, as well as facial expressions and body movements, all play important parts in conveying information.
Use the visuals on the next slide to learn how to spell your name in ASL!
When you are done, you can move on to your homework.
