Sound come from its sources
There are many sources of sound.
The sources of sound make sound by vibration
<- Vibration of a drum skin as it make sound.

Sound and sense of hearing
We use the sense of hearing to hear sound.
The sound enter our ears and our eardrum vibrates
Then the ears send message to our brain.
The brain thinks about the sound and recognise it
