Before you answer the questions:
Tense - Present Tense or Past Tense?
Singular or Plural? (Singular - verb(s), Plural - verb)
is, are, was, were + ing
has, have, had + Past Participle(-en or -ed or irregular form)
Pronouns (he, she, it, I, my, me, mine, themselves, ours, etc)

Before you answer the questions(cont):
Preposition - in, at, on, between, aside, among, etc
Conjunctions - and, but, or, for, because, since, although, etc
linkers/connectors - Hence, Therefore, However, Nevertheless, etc
articles - a, an, the, -
After modal verb (can, could, may, might, shall, should, ought to, etc), always root word (kata dasar)

For this type of question
You have to be familiar with all the grammar learnt especially tenses.
You have to understand and learn more new words because there are a few questions for vocabularies. Reread the sentences for better understanding.
First thing to do is decide whether the text is in Present Tense or Past Tense form.
Always look for the clue/keywords after or before the answer.
For eg: She wants to ____a new bag. (the clue is before the answer, 'to', meaning the answer must be in root word form only.
