Pronouns and Verbs
A pronoun is a word that replaces a noun (EX: He , she, we, they, me, my, us, etc.)
A present tense verb tells about an action that is happening right now. It must agree with the subject or pronoun of the sentence.

Pronoun- verb agreement
Add -s to most present-tense verbs when the subject is one of the
singular pronouns he, she, or it.
Examples:
He runs outside.
She jumps over the water.
It says to cook the brownies for 30 minutes.
Do not add -s to present-tense verbs
when the subject is I, we, you, or they.
Examples:
I see my dog in the backyard.
We swim everyday.
They talk to each other.
You ask the teacher the question.

A contraction is a shortened form of two words
