What is Criminal Justice?
Criminal justice involves a system where people who committed crimes will receive a just punishment and where victims receive justice.
The goal of criminal justice is to fairness and equality under the law.

Types of Crimes
Crimes fall into two main categories: Felonies and Misdemeanors.
Felonies are more serious and usually involve at least a year in prison.
Misdemeanors are less serious but can still carry serious fines and jail time.
