The Subjunctive mood is used when there are two(2) clauses and the subject of the verb in the second clause is different from the subject in the main clause. They are usually joined by "que".

• Yo siento(main clause) que Carla no pueda (second clause)

• This is very different from: Yo quiero visitar or Siento que(yo) no puedo venir.
