Everyone goes through change. Without change, we cannot grow as a person.


There are three different types of change. On the next few slides you will learn about each type.

Physical Change

  • This is the most common change to experience.

  • Physical change is when your body goes through a change, a transition.

  • It can be growing up, your hair getting longer, getting older, etc. Your physical appearance is what is changing.

Emotional Change

  • Emotional change is harder to see, but we all experience it.

  • Emotional change is when a person feels a change in their emotions and thinking.

  • Moving to a new house, changing schools, losing a best friend or a family member, getting a new pet, etc.

  • You can have positive or negative emotions when dealing with emotional change.
