1. Mechanical Mixture (heterogeneous) - Different substances visible. Example: Chocolate chip cookies. 2. Solution (homogeneous) - Looks like one substance. Example: Pop. 3. Suspensions - Cloudy mixture, particles separate on settling. Example: Muddy water. 4. Colloids - Cloudy mixture, particles do not separate. Example: Milk.
