FLASHCARD QUESTION

W10.2
- Work out how many grams there are in 8.3 kilograms.
- Work out how many kilometres there are in 5810 metres.
Back
Hint:
Except when centi metres are involved, the key number when you are converting measures is 1 000.
Then think which one is smaller? Which one is bigger?
1 g is smaller than 1 kg, so I need 1 000 of them to make 1 kg.
1 000 g = 1kg
Then draw your arrows, I multiply to go from 1 to 1 000, and I divide to go from 1 000 to 1.
Same process for metres/ kilometres.
