To change from active to passive voice, make the object of the active sentence the subject of the passive sentence and use a form of 'to be' with the past participle of the verb. For example, 'The chef cooked a huge pot of spaghetti.' becomes 'A huge pot of spaghetti was cooked by the chef.'
