Cathode Ray Tube, it is the technology used in traditional computer monitors and televisions. The image on a CRT display is created by firing electrons from the back of the tube to phosphors located towards the front of the display.

Light Emitting Diode, it is an electronic device that emits light when an electrical current is passed through it. Early LEDs produced only red light, but modern LEDs can produce several different colors, including red, green, and blue (RGB) light.

Organic light emitting diode. A display technology that uses electroluminescence to light red green and blue sub-pixels that not only light the display like their LED counterparts but also produce the image like the cells in a plasma display.
