2) Partially Defined Problem: goal is clear with some guideline, but the resolutions are many and not as easy to identify
3) Ill- Defined Problem: clear parameters, but not easy to resolve. Even if some solutions are implemented, some of those affected will disagree with them

1) Multidisciplinary Teams: Various subjects, individuals do not see each other as part of a team, IEP/504 plans are implemented separtley
2) Interdisciplinary Team: members share responsibilities, but are primarily responsible for seperate subjects. Team will also assess and implement plans individually by subject, but they will share results, devlope plans, meet regularly, and meet with families as a team.
3) Transdiciplinary Team: members teach, learn, and work together across the subjects. Team includes staff and family, and they work together to devlope plans. Members share responsiblity and accountability, and do all assessments, observing, and recording together.

5 Conflict Response Styles

1) Competitive: winning regardless of negative repercussions: used when decisions need to be made quickly or ethics are at stake
2) Avoidance: accept decisions without question. Can be used when the person knows the conflict will resolve itself
3) Accommodating: one person sets asides their own needs for the better of the group. Best used when the relationship is more important than winning, but make sure the accommadation is not damgining something important to you.
4) Compromising: each person gives up something important to them. No one is really satisfied with this approach.
5) Collaboration: everyone works together for a win-win solution. Not appropriate when a decision needs to be made urgently or the matter is trivial to all involved.
