Uruguay's initiative to regulate the marijuana market has placed it in the spotlight. Despite the law being passed with minimal social resistance, a recent survey by Equipos Mori reveals that two-thirds of Uruguayans oppose the law signed by President José Mujica. Only 24% support it, while 10% remain neutral. The survey, conducted between December 2 and 10, shows a decrease in disapproval from 70% in April to 59% in October. Young people and those from higher socioeconomic backgrounds are more supportive of the regulation.
